Ardagh Group are a global supplier in sustainable packaging solutions. Our team at Kingfisher have serviced several UK Ardagh Glass sites since 2006, and we are very proud of our long term working relationship with several of their sites across West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Scotland.
The Issues
Ardagh Glass UK approached us in 2006, due to the problems over quality and time management that they had experienced with previous companies who had attempted their ESP maintenance and cleaning work.
Objectives

To work with our client to plan and execute a bespoke cleaning plan, to remove 25 tonnes of waste product within the strict shutdown timescales allowed by the local authority.

To uphold the highest standards of Health and Safety with site specific RAMS and appropriate PPE for our team.
Results Delivered
We are proud to say that we have repeatedly completed ESP projects for Ardagh Glass UK on time. We have received excellent feedback from the manufacturer, Interprojekt of Germany, who inspected our work and confirmed excellent emission readings.
Ardagh also reported that, due to our cleaning maintenance, they have not had to replace any parts (plates) since we began our annual cleaning projects. This has amounted to a huge financial saving for our client compared to previous years.
Their long term commitment to this maintenance cleaning has enabled us to increase our efficiency, and we then passed this saving back to our client. This means that the cost of each contract decreased year on year, helping cement an already strong professional relationship with one of our key customers.
